Hello friends and comrades. You may recall I talked about the Hierophant in episode #5, nearly two years ago exactly and not long after I had been let go from my day job. Now I’m talking about the Hierophant again and have started a new job as of today. I don’t know what it means but maybe it means something. Time will tell.
I think the message of this episode is very different, as I’ve been taking a new approach to how I write these episodes. For example, I do actually write a script now instead of hitting record and hoping everything I say ends up making sense, which was my previous method. That’s why I take a little longer to put a new episode out these last few months, if you were wondering (and if so: thank you for sticking around and being patient). My interested in making these hasn’t waned in the slightest, it just takes some time to dream up new ideas and connect synchronicities and patterns that end up shaping how I write about each card. It’s a slow process, but it’s one I really enjoy. I talk about this more in the episode, so maybe give it a listen and let me know what you think.
I also talk about Leonora Carrington, David Lynch, and René Magritte, so I wanted to share some of their work as a visual snack to go along with the episode.
And below are the images for the Wild Unknown and Waite Smith versions of the Hierophant. I love you and I’m glad you’re here!!
